  1. Horrible haircut. Way too trendy, lacks originality, too much upkeep, too much requirement of product and salon visits. What man with any responsibilities other than his vanity has the time for such a ridiculous, uncool haircut?

    1. I got this cut a couple of years ago and still have it. its easier than any other I have had, put stuff in comb back/to the side and done. 5 weeks between cuts.
Whats with the crap neck tattoos ?

      1. I think several of these are attractive haircuts. Agree the over tattoo style isn’t necessary. It is attractive when men look like some thought went into they style and it requires they carry a comb.
These style accent the jaw line and give definition to your face.

    2. I have this do because it’s the only one that works for odd shaped dome. I only shampoo my hair once, maybe twice a week. I use no hair products. This style does not necessarily require lots of upkeep. All I do is comb it for a second into place and it sticks just fine and is dapper as f***.

    3. It’s trendy for a reason – it looks hot on most guys. You’re probably one of those gross dudes who just buzzes most of it off and repeats the cycle once it starts acquiring ‘fro status. Ick.

    4. Shave 2 on all around but fade bottom as 1, leave top long but trim a little and leave a hardcut. Pays barber and tip.

      Goes home. Showers.

Gets out shower. Drys hair. Resumes day.

      You’re right. Super tough life.

    5. Exactly.. had this 2 years ago. And yes, it’s a lot of upkeep. If you can afford to get a decent haircut every 2 weeks min. Back to long hair for me.

    6. this is clearly a joke article. A bowl cut article would’ve been great but it would’ve made it too obvious that its a sarcastic article. This is perfect because its semi-believable

    7. I have this haircut. It takes all of 5 minutes (though mine is shorter on top than most of these). I just put some pomade in it (costs me $6 for a tin that lasts me 2-3 months depending on how long I let my hair get), run a comb through it, hit it with a hair dryer for about a minute, and I’m done. It isn’t expensive, and requires almost no upkeep.

  4. It’s my haircut for a couple of weeks now. My girlfriend asked me to do this haircut and I must admit it’s really a nice cut every man should have ! my hair is now 9 mm at the back and sides and 13 cm on top.

  6. Yeah, we should all totally get the same haircut and lose our sense of originality, and become clones! Way to go, fashion!

  7. So….black guys can’t do it…unless we relax our hair…which half of the time if styled like this looks dumb as hell. THANK YOU I WONT DO THIS!

  8. I support a similar cut and find that upkeep is minimal. However, it all depends on what you want to do with it. Keep in mind I’ve experimented many different cuts (including several Mohawks).

  9. Hi damian, let me tell you that haircut is cool but not much in curly hair is a bad idea. My husband had it for almost 4 months and he and i get tired to wasted too much time getting the look… Is easy when you hair is easy to brush.

  10. I don’t believe it’s a haircut only for white folks. Anyone who takes care of their hair can wear it. To me, it just looks like a varied mohawk. All you’re doing is shaving off the sides and the back and leaving a tuft of hair at the top.

And those of you whining about originality, your statement isn’t all that original either.

    1. yep, seen lots of asians sporting this look around melbourne. I have an undercut atm which is this basically – though I am one of the few that wears it down i.e. I have a fringe and sides, only time I ever wore it up like this was for a more formal look. I prefer the balance of casual top and clean cut for the sides and back – so it doesn’t look scruffy.

**I agree though whilst it looks great, quite dapper, I do find too many people starting to look the same.

  11. While you’re at it getting this haircut, make sure you have some tattoos on your arms, a v-neck, and some wayfarers to make sure you’re completely indistinguishable from every other white person at the bar.

  12. So much fun … So glad you are all rocking the look … Best wishes to all those who love the look …..

  13. I’ve had a version of this haircut for a year and a half. Unfortunately, my hair grows extremely fast so I have to get trimmed up about every 4 weeks, however, putting that aside, this is an AWESOME hairstyle. I use a little pommade to keep it locked in but upkeep is minimal and I get nothing but compliments on it.

  14. All you need is a blow dryer and a quick once over with some cheap freeze hair spray and a comb. I have been cutting my hair since I was a teenager. You will fuck up here and there when you are learning, but with a a cheap $20 walmart electric shaver kit on #2-#3 setting for the back and sides, then fade up to #7 on the back top working forward I have found this haircut to be really low maintenance, only require clean ups every other week. Now if you want it longer in the back it is a little more work so I have stuck to only doing the front, more of a psychobilly look but much less to “do” so it’s better if you don’t have 30 min in the morning to fuss with your hair. I can literally do it out of the shower in under 5 minutes. But with a little patience you can do it yourself and do it up in minutes for dirt cheap once you get the hang of it if you want to have a pompadour but don’t think you can’t do it on your own.

Now that whole exaggerated, skin shave part thing… I think it looks like shit. If you want a part, the make a part, don’t shave it in. In the long term you are going to end up making an awkward hair growth pattern. I’ve seen it… shit’s ugly.

  15. Already had this cut… miss it too. tried trimming it my self and fucked it up now im rocking a solid 1 (“1/8) alot easier to cut yourself

  16. All fine and dandy….but what if you have a SLIGHT receding hairline? None of these guys have that, so it’s hard to tell what it would look like with one….will I look mildly retarded?

    1. Actually my hairline has begun to recede a little. I have had this cut in the past and again more recently and my wife loved it. I like it too.

  17. This is the best haircut ever it does require alot of upkeep but its worth it. I had it for 2 years but i have to say not everyone can pull it off. Here is the link

  18. Jaja, it only makes me think about Vanilla Ice, Fresh prince and more ice ice baby hahha. Oh yea, and a Qnt known As benito juarez!!! Benito juares is the last last kid jajaja osom!

  19. A man lookin good should be a top priority.. Your image on the world; nd how you portray yourself should be something to think about… How you gonna demand respect looking like a grimey bum..I could careless what people think of me… But there’s only one time to make a first impression.. And im taking every chance I get to impress someone..

  20. If you want to look like a modern douchebag, then yeah, this is the haircut for you. Guys need to stop focusing on how elegantly descheveled they can look and worry more about the fact that ours is becoming the most self-involved, egotistical, and materialistic generation yet. Rant over. Proceed.

  21. wondering what kind of products people have found success with here. I have thick hair and have been using layrite but want to go for more of a matte, high hold. Think clumpy, I’ll stick with the high hold layrite for those slick back events.
